The Year of the Fire Horse

As we come to the close of this past lunar year - the year of the Snake, the shedding is complete, Chandler has shedded what she needs to, and is only taking what she needs into the year of the Fire Horse - Strength, Grace, Resilience and Beauty. On the 17th the year of the Horse begins, the same day we fly to Maui for a healing visit. Maui, a home to us, is known in Hawaiian culture as the healing isle - this feels extremely fitting for the journey and time. Embodying the majestic horse, we enter this new chapter of life with fruition.

Today marks treatment number 7. Chandler continues to defy all odds and prove the power of the mind, body, spirit in her healing journey. The assistant oncologist to Dr. Semrad met with us this morning and she told Chan, and I quote “you are literally crushing it”. Everyone is astonished how well she is handling this intense treatment and getting better every session instead of the opposite. Chan’s bloodwork shows near normal liver enzymes - which means the disease in her liver is shrinking or potentially even GONE. Mackenzie (assistant to Dr. Semrad) said “you’re going to Hawaii and coming home Cancer Free” - and that’s the energy we are taking into the Year of the Horse. 

We will be visiting one of our favorite places on earth, Sensei - Lanai. A wellness retreat tucked in the hills of Lanai. We will be turning off, detoxing from our electronics, leaning into the mind, spirit connection and nourishing the body. As she is healing and we need to celebrate her, give her all the nourishment, gentleness and love she so deserves. She is going to spend a lot of time continuing to pray and meditating on this trip. This may be the year of the horse and I know without a doubt it’s a SHE. 

Chandler is over here healing y’all. Continuing to push deeper into the Wellness realm of holistic healing while learning what benefits come from western medicine. An all inclusive approach. The Vicars Wellness Spa has a huge influence on her healing journey. 

Over the past few weeks, Chandlers Brother - Cheston, his wife - Libby and their adorable daughter Maude Anna along with Chandlers Sister Chrys and fiance Declan all came to Tahoe to visit which was such a special time. good. clean. fun.

We continue to feel immense gratitude for all the love, prayers and support y’all have given us. With all the support, Chandler has been able to engage in cell positive, holistic healing activities in between treatment. Thank you all so much for your continued support and prayers🙏 God is great!
