Her Story
Chandler Hayden Vicars has always been a woman of strength, passion, dedication, and love. Her and her husband of over a decade, Will, go on another journey of trying to have a baby as they found out the news in August 2025. As they have had hurdles before, this time felt different in the best way. In October-November 2025, Chandler began to have moderate to severe constipation which is not an abnormal symptom of pregnancy. At this time there was some abnormal genetic testing of the baby as well so the doctor ordered an MRI for Chandler. The preliminary results were not what her, Will, or anyone for that matter, expected. She was told that almost certainly she had colorectal cancer with concerning spots on her liver and regional pelvic lymph node region. She proceeded to get the above areas biopsied sooner rather than later to also decrease complications in her pregnancy.
