The Care

She is healing from this holistically and medicinally - using western medical guidance but adding holistic practices that support immune function and cellular response. We have had such amazing support from friends and family who have helped with costs and allowed us to get Chandler an Infrared Sauna with red light therapy, a PEMF amethyst mat to help produce and protect good cells, and a hot tub to soak and sooth her body after treatments. She is also going to start doing hyperbaric chamber sessions soon. Chandler has been walking 1-2 miles multiple times a week as well as started lifting weights again which brings her even more strength to use for healing. She is on a strict protocol diet that eliminates any food that would potentially “feed” the cancer and do everything to starve it. 

She is being cared for at Tahoe Forest in Truckee where the care has been nothing short of exceptional. Her regiment is being directed and guided by the help of UCSF as the lead oncologist here, Dr. Semrad, is good friends with Dr. Van Loon at UCSF. We are feeling blessed to have a UCSF influenced treatment program that is capable of being administered so close to home.
