Scans 3 Update

Hi everyone!

Thank you ALL for your continued love, support and prayers. We are so grateful for each of you and all the good energy you’re sending our way.

Yesterday we met with Dr. Semrad and he confirmed what we saw on the scans. Reduction on all liver spots. Some completely gone! Lymph nodes all looking smaller and also some gone. He confirmed there is NO evidence of a rectal tumor anymore!!! He said in one word: fantastic.

He said “Now is the time to make the calls to see what the next step is”. He sent referrals to UCSF and MD Anderson to present our case to them and have them figure out the best and safest plan of action to remove the areas previously infected and any previously infected lymph nodes.

MD Anderson called yesterday afternoon (!) after Chandlers treatment to start setting up an appointment. This is massive, they’re the US leader in oncology and invented the Breakwater Regime Chan is on!!  Dr. Semrad said MD Anderson is by far the “most aggressive” in terms of surgery and pushing the limits of innovation for oncology, and this may be exactly what we may need.

We are going to visit both MD Anderson and UCSF to discuss potential options with them, this may or may not include surgery. We are going in completely open and optimistic. The reality of Chandler getting this far to have these conversations is a HUGE WIN. Like we stated before, Dr. Semrad said Chandler had less than a 5% chance of getting to this point. She is a true warrior and has stayed so dedicated to her health and wellness part of this journey.

Chandler will continue on treatment for the next 8 weeks(4 cycles); while we meet with both UCSF and MD. We ar both very VERY excited! We will keep you all posted once the appointments with MD Anderson and UCSF are set up. In the meantime we ask for your prayers for continued reduction in liver and lymph node spots. We ask that you continue to send all the love and positive energy our way. We appreciate it more than you’ll ever know.
