First Scan Update

Yesterday was a big day! We met with Chandlers oncologist to go over her first CT scans since starting treatment back in November. She has received 4 treatments so far, every 2 weeks. The first thing Dr. Semrad said was “looks like the radiologist was very impressed with your scans!” - good start! In summary - ITS WORKING! Chan is HEALING. All tumors, have significantly decreased in size showing a CLEAR positive response to the treatment. He said that he does not see this response this fast, so whatever Chandler is doing is really working - we know this is attributed to her home Wellness Spa, strict protocol diet, metabolic exercise and mental fortitude. 

Summary of Scans: 

• Rectum tumor shows significant decrease in size as well as a decrease in rectal wall thickening 

• Lymph nodes around rectum are back to normal size and not showing any indications of being infected with cancer 

• Livers spots have SIGNIFICANTLY decreased, with some disappearing! It was astonishing to see the before and after photos. Her first scan was on 11/14 and it showed multiple (around 8) spots that have shrunk over 75% in size and are now only around 1 x 0.7 cm.

• Lymph nodes around liver have shrunk from the size they were, still a little enlarged but with this response he expects them to return to normal soon 

We are overwhelmed with her success. As some our best friends coined the phrase “She Chan, She Will” - and this is certainly what she is doing! At the end of the appointment I asked Dr. Semrad - “so you would classify this as a success?” He responded “that would be a gross understatement, I am THRILLED, she hit a home run”. To put it in perspective, he said that if nothing changed over the next 8 treatments and this was the “last” scan of her 4 scans - he would classify this as a MAJOR success. 

What’s Next:

Chandler will do a total of 12 treatments, yesterday was her 5th. She will continue with treatments every 2 weeks. Continuing to do the same combo of drugs as we are seeing such progress. The best outcome is that all the spots continue to decrease in size and disappear fully. At the end of the 12 treatments, we will rescan to see how well the treatment has worked and assess if they need to surgically remove any small remaining pieces. With the drastic size reduction already, the potential surgery would be very easy. 

Chandler is feeling beyond proud of her body, mind and spirit. She has dug deep and is coming out swinging. Now is the time, she leans in even further to all her tools - eating clean, working out, infrared sauna, red light therapy, lymphatic drainage massages, amethyst PEMF, talk therapy, outdoor walks and hyperbaric chamber sessions. 

We feel immense gratitude for all the support we have received so far. We couldn’t have gotten all these incredible tools for Chandler without all of you. Thank you so much.
